WINNER OF BRITAIN'S GOT TALENT 2019, COLIN THACKERY, PERFORMS AT BRINSWORTH HOUSE SUMMER PARTY
The summer party was a huge success, with unanimous positive feedback received from all the home’s residents, their relatives and friends. Chairman Giles Cooper was present, who welcomed the residents and their relatives to the party and Head of PR David Pogson was successful in securing journalists from the Daily Mail and the Twickenham & Richmond Times to cover the event.
The line-up for the Variety Show which had been arranged by Peter Hinton and Executive Committee Member Kay Carman, included the return of some of the residents’ favourite acts who had graced Brinsworth’s stage over the previous 12 months, Steph Parry, Gayatri Nair and Cassidy Janson sung modern classics and show tunes, Katie Lewis wowed the audience with a stunning tap routine, Daniel Dean gave a brief but excellent magical turn and current students from Tring Park School for Performing Arts took to the stage, including Jodie and Des O’Connor’s son Adam, who serenaded the crowd. The worthy winner of Britain’s Got Talent 2019; the Chelsea Pensioner Colin Thackery delighted everyone present by closing the show.
