We are delighted to report that yesterday, Friday 19th March, all our residents at Brinsworth House received their second dose of the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine.
Chairman Giles Cooper commented, "I can't express how great it feels to now have all of our residents and care staff fully vaccinated with both doses of the Oxford Covid-19 vaccine. It’s such a huge relief to have reached this key milestone. I would like to thank and pay tribute to our Matron Tatree Preece, Operations Manager Peter Hinton, Administrator Kirsty Bristow and to all of our many nurses and carers for their tireless and dedicated work keeping our residents safe and well over the past twelve months. Despite a handful of positive Covid cases amongst staff and residents earlier this year, we are so thankful that this awful disease didn't claim the life of any of our elderly residents. We now can't wait for a year ahead that looks a little bit more like normal!"
