Brinsworth House

Brinsworth House is a luxurious, residential and nursing care home, which stands as a place of safety, peace, happiness and tranquility for those who have worked in the entertainment industry. Appropriately labelled the Old Pro's Paradise, it's residents are cared for by a dedicated team of highly trained nurses and care assistants and in 2024, our kitchen staff were awarded 'UK Care Home Caterers of the Year'.

Set within over three acres of land, Brinsworth House is a beautiful mansion on the outskirts of Twickenham and for over one hundred years has become the home of many retired artists and those of who have spent their lives serving the entertainment industry.

Between 2020 and 2023, Brinsworth House underwent a huge refurbishment programme, with building work beginning with the installation of a 5 star kitchen and dining room, followed by the building of the newly named ‘Giles Cooper Wing’ and then the complete overhaul of the original upper floors of the main building. The  interior was designed by celebrated interior designer, Mikhail Pietranek, giving the feel of a 5-star boutique hotel, with a theatrical twist and began by converting 23 rooms to ensuite bedrooms, an additional 9 nusing rooms, a new 8-person passenger lift connecting three floors, fibre broadband throughout and the addition of two assisted  bathrooms. The last phase of work was completed at the end of 2023, with the completion of an additional 7 ensuite bedrooms and the complete refurbishment of the legendary hair salon!
