Facilities at Brinsworth
Brinsworth House is a luxurious, residential and nursing care home, fully compliant with the requirements of the Care Quality Commisson (CQC). The Home prides itself on providing 5-star care, with first class service delivered by a dedicated team of loving staff that are continually on hand to care for the individual needs of each resident. The home's abundant facilities are also complemented by numerous visiting services from healthcare professionals, such as doctors, chiropodists, opticians, physiotherapists, and pastoral care for all faiths.
Between 2020 and 2023, Brinsworth House underwent a huge refurbishment programme, with work beginning with the installation of a 5-star kitchen and dining room, followed by the building of the newly named ‘Giles Cooper Wing’ and then the complete overhaul of the original upper floors of the main building. The interior was designed by celebrated interior designer, Mikhail Pietranek, giving the feel of a 5-star boutique hotel, with a theatrical twist and began by converting 23 rooms to ensuite bedrooms, an additional 9 nusing rooms, a new 8-person passenger lift connecting three floors, fibre broadband throughout and the addition of two assisted bathrooms. The last phase of work was completed at the end of 2023, with the completion of an additional 7 ensuite bedrooms and the complete refurbishment of the legendary hair salon!

Our kitchen and dining facilities are superb and more akin to that of a top class hotel with gourmet chefs providing a whole range of menus throughout the day. Our resident chefs can also cater for a wide variety of specialist dietary requirements, depending on the needs of each individual resident.

The Legendary Brinsworth Bar

The legendary Brinsworth House bar is styled on a traditional West-End pub and is a very popular and happy part of the Home. The bar is open every lunchtime and evening and for many residents much fun is had recounting favourite and often hilarious stories from their lifetimes in show business - usually ending with a jolly sing-along around the piano!

As well as providing luxurious accommodation, the historic house has been adapted to cater for many specialist needs. Brinsworth House is fully CQC compliant and has indeed achieved 'outstanding' ratings in recent inspections. The home has ramp access to the house, lifts, an elevator, bath hoist facilities, and walk-in shower rooms.

Brinsworth House is enormously proud of its in-house entertainment shows, which are staged on Brinsworth's very own stage once or twice per week, and regularly supported by a huge number of well-known singers, actors, dancers, comedians and West End stars - all giving their services for free to entertain our residents.
